When was CAD CAM Galaxy established?
In 2007. We have been providing CAD/CAM and CNC training and technology solutions since then.

CAD CAM Galaxy was founded by Mr. Nadeem Ansari. His vision is to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world engineering and manufacturing requirements.

Siemens NX is an integrated engineering software platform used for product design, engineering, simulation and manufacturing. We both supply NX licences and train people to use them.
Do you provide Siemens NX training?
Yes. Our Siemens NX CAD/CAM programme covers both design and manufacturing workflows.
What is covered in the NX CAD training?
3D modelling, drafting, assembly design, advanced surfacing and related design workflows.
What is covered in the NX CAM training?
CAM programming is included as part of the Siemens NX CAD/CAM programme. Ask us for the current batch syllabus for the exact machining modules and strategies.

No. The Siemens NX course does not cover 5-axis machining.

What is CAD/CAM?
CAD/CAM stands for computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing. CAD is used to create and modify engineering designs; CAM turns that design data into manufacturing toolpaths and CNC programs.
What is the difference between CAD and CAM?
CAD focuses on designing and documenting products and components. CAM uses that digital design information to plan and generate manufacturing processes such as CNC machining.
What is CNC programming?
CNC programming is the process of creating the instructions that control CNC machine tools — tool movements, cutting parameters and machining operations.
Do you provide CNC programming training?
Yes. CNC programming is one of our core training areas.
What is 2.5-axis machining?
Machining where the cutting tool moves simultaneously in two linear axes, while the third axis is used mainly for positioning between machining levels.
What is 3-axis machining?
Machining that uses three linear axes — typically X, Y and Z — to position and move the cutting tool relative to the workpiece.
What is 5-axis machining?
Machining where the tool and/or workpiece can be positioned using five degrees of freedom, which allows complex geometries to be cut and improves tool access.
What is the difference between 3-axis and 5-axis machining?
3-axis gives three linear degrees of movement; 5-axis adds two rotational ones. Five-axis provides better access to complex surfaces and can reduce the number of setups needed.
Which CAM software is best for mould manufacturing?
There is no single answer. The right choice depends on the type of mould, machine configuration, geometry, postprocessor requirements, machining strategy and your existing workflow. We can help you evaluate the options against your own jobs.

Yes. PowerMill is one of our course offerings, and it is where we cover 3-axis machining.

Does the VMC Operating course cover 3-axis machining?

Yes. Moldex3D is the leading CAE platform for plastic injection moulding, and we supply it as an authorized reseller with installation and training. It simulates filling, packing, cooling and warpage so mould problems are found on screen rather than during trials.
What does Moldex3D do for a mould maker?
It shows how plastic will actually behave in your mould before it is cut — short shots, weld lines, air traps, sink marks and warpage. That means fewer trials, better gate and runner decisions, and cooling layouts tuned for cycle time. It connects to mainstream CAD systems, so it fits the workflow you already run.
Do you provide BricsCAD or ZWCAD training and licences?
Yes. We supply both BricsCAD and ZWCAD licences and provide training on them.

Do you provide reverse engineering?
Yes. We use GOM Scan 1 blue-light scanning with GOM Inspect Pro for scanning, mesh repair and traceable inspection reports.
